Afloramientos de Singuerlín, Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Barcelonès, Barcelona, Catalunya (Cataluña), España
Group of small hydrothermal veins that cross several porphidic rock areas and in some cases Paleozoic slates. That veins are mainly composed of globular fluorite, calcite, and sometimes by pyrite altered to goethite and massive galena. Historically, the first finds took place during the construction of some buildings at Singuerlín neighborhood, in the town of Santa Coloma de Gramenet. Recently, these outcrops have been confirmed to continue to the north, reaching the southeast slope of Puig Castellar (Serra de Marina), what has provided new specimens over the last years.
Although in the first finds people mentioned the existence of gearksutite, all the attempts to confirm this species using modern analytical techniques have been unsuccessful.
