Ancienne carrière de Neaux
A former quarry (closed in 1998) situated below the village and dug in Visean rocks showing 3 areas: a central area (sandstones and anthracite) and two peripheral areas (ignimbrites). All mineralized veins (quartz/fluorite/calcite) are in the two peripheral areas and are still visible today but the best specimens were found during the operation in the 1990's.
Beware: this place is very dangerous due to frequent landslides!
