Other/historical names associated with this locality:
Sinnar quarry; Mahadari quarry; Mohadari quarry

Located west of the National Highway going to Pune. Mahodari belongs to the system of quarries around Nasik town. This area is very rich in cavities with colourless apophyllite (dominating tabular habits) and pink/orange stilbite (Tomasz Praszkier information, see messageboard at http://www.mindat.org/mesg-7-156911.html)

Note: It would appear that the spelling of this locality perhaps should be Mohadari, per various web references, including Google Earth.

Located some 27 km from Nasik. Famous for spheroidal fluorites.
