A former lode Au mine located in the SW¼SW¼ sec. 4 & in the SE¼SE¼ sec. 5, T10N, R12E, MDM, 1.7 km (1.1 miles) WNW of Cold Springs and 1.7 km (1.1 miles) SSW of Gold Hill (5 miles NNW of Placerville near Weber Creek), on private land. Claim is constituted of 11 acres. Operated by J. and J. Blair Land and Lumber Co., et al. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. No evidence of Au in secs. 4, 5, 6, 7 & 13.

Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada) and/or Jurassic marine rocks, unit 1 (Western Sierra Nevada and Western Klamath Mountains).
