A former Mn occurrence/mine located in the SE¼SE¼ sec. 27, T11S, R6E, MDM, 0.3 km (0.2 mile) SSE of Messic Peak (coordinates of record) and 5.9 km (3.7 miles) WNW of Antimony Peak (coordinates of record), on the S slope of Messic Peak, on private land (fee ownership). Owned by Jean Sparling et. vir. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

The ore body is 1 meter thick with a depth-to-top of 5 meters, width of 5 meters and a length of 30 meters. Ore body No. 1 is a fissure vein and ore body No. 2 is breccia filled. The primary mode of origin was hydrothermal activity and the secondary mode of origin was sedimentation. Primary ore control was lithology. There is no wallrock alteration. Local rocks include rocks of the Franciscan Complex, unit 1 (Coast Ranges).

Workings include unspecified surface openings.
