A former lode Au mine located in sec. 21, T32N, R5W, MDM (coordinates estimated) 3.4 km (2.1 miles) SW of Quartz Hill near the Keswick dam on the E side of the Sacramento River. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in greenstone. The ore body is tabular at 0.46 meters thick. Greenstone occurs near the ore vein, schistose and brecciated. Free gold is associated with sulphides. Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 1 (Eastern Klamath Mountains).

workings include underground openings comprised of a 50 foot adit and a shallow shaft with a 10 foot drift.
