Rynersonite from
Tennvatn pegmatite, Sørfold, Nordland, Norway

Locality type:Pegmatite
Classification
Species:Rynersonite
Formula:CaTa2O6
Comments:A rynersonite -like mineral is reported from Tennvatn (Kristiansen 2000). XRD gives a pattern close to rynersonite, but it is also possible that it is vigezzite. Husdal (2008) concludes that the data is based on a mislabeled sample collected at Herrebøkasa, Halden, Norway.
