Comments:Fragmented crystals (6-20 mm), amber yellow to smoky brown, translucent to opaque, mostly tabular, from a soil horizon dated pre-1060 AD in an archaeological excavation in High Street, Dublin (1967-72).

Also from an excavation in Fishamble Street, Dublin (1978-81), associated with a layer of mussels dated ca. 980 AD.
