silver mineralization is related to the Jurassicage vein and replacement Pb-Ag-Zn deposits at Darwin and...area and 600 feet southeast of the Mount Diablo shaft (Page, 1959). Veins in gossan containing euhedral...west of the glory hole for the original discovery vein for the Holmes-Northern Belle mine 158 (Page, 1959)...a wombat hole near Moonta. And thus the Wombat shaft was opened, the first of 169 Figure 1 (above)...early newspaper accounts, it had one shaft called the “Bob shaft” and was a source of “kerosene shale”
