Zinconigerite-6N6S from
Rosendal pegmatite, Kimitoön Island, Kimitoön (Kemiönsaari), Southwest Finland, Finland

Locality type:Pegmatite
Classification
Species:Zinconigerite-6N6S
Formula:Zn3Sn2Al16O30(OH)2
Comments:First described by Burke et al (1977) as Fe-rich nigerite. At the time of their study the polysome was not known. Using the reported XRD data Armbruster (2002) argumented and showed that the material according to new nomenclature can be named zinconigerite-6N6S.
