Comments:Most of the white crusts visible to the naked eye found on materials from this locality are the flos ferri variety of aragonite; specimens are only rarely of high enough quality to consider collecting them - most specimens are grainy crusts in which the crystals have been damaged severly.
Habit:"Flos Ferri" habit and grainy crusts. Some of the flos ferri crystals exhibit a bladed habit.
Colour:white (may be stained other hues)
Luminescent properties:blue
Quality for species:Poor for species, only of interest for locality collectors. (#)
