Strickland Quarry, Strickland pegmatite, Collins Hill, Portland, Middlesex County, Connecticut, USA

Locality type:Quarry
Classification
Species:Halloysite
Formula:Al2(Si2O5)(OH)4
Comments:Reference by Januzzi (1976) to this mineral being found by Schooner in "Portland" correlates only with a report by Schooner (circa 1985) from the Walden Gem Quarry in Portland.
