Steve & Sandy Whelan, Calumet, Michigan have collected barite on the dumps, which do NOT merge with those of nearby Montreal mine, and have come across many barites locally labeled Cary. Same geology as Montreal mine. Rocks & Minerals Vol. 73 No. 6 p.385 lumps the mines together and cites barite.
