different alteration minerals present, chlorite, nontronite, and pyrite were identified by XRD in all of...mainly composed of iron oxides, clay minerals (nontronite) and amorphous silica. The poorly crystalline...of these mineral phases (ex. opal, goethite, nontronite) makes them difficult to identify using XRD....Al2O3 <0.6 wt%, respectively).
