Comments:"transparent blue vivianite crystals, some spear-shaped, in vugs of messelite and siderite...While the vivianite crystals are small, they are of fine quality." (Schooner 1961) Also as coatings on triphylite and associated with messelite, siderite, mitridatite, strunzite and sulfides.
Habit:elongated, terminated prisms and cleavable masses
Colour:dark blue
