Analcime from
Old Mine Park (Old Tungsten Mine), Long Hill, Trumbull, Fairfield County, Connecticut, USA

Locality type:Park
Formula:Na(AlSi2O6) · H2O
Comments:Gurlt (1894) appears to be the only one to report this mineral, which is very unlikely and never found since. Schairer (1931) included it with other minerals reported by Hobbs (1901) in a very generalized paraphrased summary taken as fact by Schooner (1961) and Januzzi (1976) but never substantiated.
Validity:Erroneously Reported
