Comments:According to Weeks et al, Montroseite was collected from the Rex No. 2 Mine at Temple Mountain, Emery County, Utah, in 1952 by A. Rosenzweig of the Atomic Energy Commission. "A. Rosenzweig ... sent a few milligrams of nearly pure montroseite from the Rex No. 2 mine to the writers for identification. The sample consisted of cleavage fragments and aggregates of grains larger than those in other samples..."
