Comments:"Very small brilliant tabular crystals, looking black through dark red under strong magnification, are commonly embedded in tephroite, kutnohorite, pyroxymangite, and spessartine from the Jail Hill quarry. Studies at the USGS and the University of Michigan have confirmed the identification."
