Comments: | Pavel Kartashov did some microprobe work on what was thought to be Erythrite in 2011 but it turned out to be cobalt-bearing scorodite. Subsequently in 2012 Reiner Mielke found another pink mineral in acicular crystals that gave a positive HCL test for cobalt ( bright blue in Conc. HCl). This new material differed from the material Pavel tested. The material Pavel tested was granular and produced a yellow solution in conc. HCL. |
