Comments:Reported from the oxidation zones of several iron ore deposits associated with porphyrites in the Nanjing, Wuhu and Luzong (Lujiang-Zongyang) volcanic areas. Studies show that it is a hypergene mineral formed from weathering of apatite (Wang et al., 1990).
