A former underground Au-Ag mine. Produced 1940-1947.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with a tabular ore body hosted in the Hillside Mica Schist (muscovite schist). Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. No alteration noted.

Area structures include veins, often at low angles, dipping under 40 degrees. Minor foliation in the schist trends NE. Massive igneous rocks are present.
