Giant podiform chromite deposit with reserves >300 Mt of Cr2O3.

Presented as some tens of chromite pods and lenses on a 30 x 50 km territory.

It is hosted by harzburgite and dunite rocks metamorphised at amphibolite facies conditions.

Located in the metasedimentary Silurian Sakmara belt.
