Ref.: Ashley, R.P. (1974), Field Examination (Unnamed Cu-Pb-Zn prospect 96-10).

MRDS database Dep. ID file #10039854, MRDS ID #M050936.

A Cu-Pb-Zn occurrence/prospect with underground workings located in sec. 21, T13S, R12E.

Mineralization is a contact metasomatic deposit with a veined zone 2 meters thick hosted in andesite. Alteration includes argillitic; propylitic. An associated rock unit is quartz monzonite.

The veined zone is sheared and brecciated, with stringers and pods to 1 meter thick of massive specular hematite plus dark green chlorite (plus minor quartz ?), and locally abundant epidote. Disseminated malachite and limonite, and Cu silicate on fractures, are scarce. At the entrance to the cut in front of the portal, sharp shear, striking N72W and dipping 42S, cuts off the vein. For 2 meters on the footwall side of this shear the andesite is partially argillized. The vein contains minor galena and possible minor sphalerite.

Workings include a tunnel with irregular, stoped-out (?) areas.
