Sulphide mineralisation in quartz-calcite vein, hosted by graphite schist.

A former small iron mine, located 2.3 km NW of Trofaiach at approx. N47.44184 E14.98371, elev. 760 m. The mine was probably worked in the 16th century and earlier since the adit was driven with the use of hammer and pick (Schlegel und Eisen, genestelt) only.

The adit is not accessible any more, it was closed after J. Friml (2012) had entered the adit.

Lagerstaetten Inventar Nr. 335, gbanr 138.2430.
