A former small surface and underground Mn mine located on 4 unpatented claims in N-central sec. 36, T11S, R2E, G&SRM (protracted), in the Cimarron Mountains, 9 miles NW of Gu Achi. Operated in 1958 and 1959.

Mineralization is psilomelane, wad, and other soft manganese oxides, with local abundance of iron oxides, in and around Paleozoic limestone fragments in an E-striking bedding plane fault zone between limestone on the hanging wall and quartzite beds on the footwall. The ore zone is 1.83 meters thick and dips 54SE. The mineralization is in the south wing of an apparent anticline.

Mineral deposition was continuous in many parts of the mine, but was also confined to beds from 4 to 6 feet thick. To the south and west, in the mine, the mineralization decreased to pods and stringers.

Workings are 106.68 meters long and 35.05 meters deep and include an inclined shaft oriented 60SE and drift operations. Some, 1,240 long tons of 35% Mn ore were produced in the mid-1950's. The property was idle in 1956.
