Zn-Pb-Fe stratiform deposit in Ordovician schists, slates, quartzites and limestones, slightly affected by Hercynian low grade regional metamorphism. The abandoned galleries, dumps and buildings are located close to Montoliu lake, at an altitude of 2400 m and 0,5 km south of Col d’Urets (French border).
