Relicts of mainly 18th century (start in mediaeval times??) silver mines, working mineralizations in Triassic calcic marbles.
Located north of the Hochtor at an elevation of 2460-2550 m asl. More ancient workings are found south of the Hochtor, in Carinthia (see http://www.mindat.org/loc-43693.html).
