A former feldspar mine located in sec. 6, SW¼ sec. 5, NE¼ sec. 7 and sec. 1, T26N, R4E, SBM, and in sec. 6, T27N, R4E, SBM, and in sec. 8, T26N, R5E, SBM, 1.5 km (0.9 mile) S of Franklin Well, and 5.7 km (3.5 miles) SE of Scranton, in the Amargosa Desert near the Nevada state line. Owned by Industrial Mineral Ventures, California (1981). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
