A former asbestos mine located in the center S½ sec. 16, T3N, R15W, SBM, N of the Sylmar neighborhood of the San Fernando region of the city of Los Angeles.

Mineralization is a metamorphic deposit hosted in rocks of the Pucara Formation (schist, metasedimentary rock).

Production data are found in: Oakeshott (1958).
