A Au occurrence/mine located in the SW¼NW¼ sec. 25, T12N, R8E, MDM, MRDS, 3.4 km (2.1 miles) SW of Cool and 4.1 km (2.5 miles) NW of Pilot Hill, on private land. Operated by P. E. Bottorf. Operated circa 1923. The MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit. The vein is narrow. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include underground openings with a length of 91.44 meters and an overall depth of 27.43 meters and comprised of a 60 foot shaft and a 90 foot shaft connected by a 150 foot drift.

No production record was found.

Some high-grade ore.
