Terrible photo, but looks like it might be pyromorphite, and also looks like it's not from Canada.

If it is pyromorphite, and from Canada, the only locality I know that it could be from is the Society Girl mine, at Moyie, B.C.

Do you have any idea at all where in Canada this was from? That might be helpful into making an attempt of what you have. Also, have you done any sort of testing (hardness, specific gravity, etc.) on the specimen? Even with a locality and some info, it's still going to be the proverbial needle in a very large haystack.

In addition to the tests noted above, check if there is any reaction to either dilute hydrochloric acid or vinegar. The crystal druse looks very much like calcite or aragonite which would react with effervescence to an acid. The rusty material is likely iron oxide (goethite/"limonite").
