Mineral ShowsSeattle Mineral Market May,2014

2nd Mar 2014 17:45 GMTRay Hill Expert

Are you old enough to remember the "Good Old Days" of mineral shows when renting a sales table didn't bankrupt you?

When parking , and admission to a show were free?

When kids were encouraged to collect by dealers giving them free specimens?

When dealers actually took time to cross the room and talk to each other?

Well, those amazing conditions all apply to the best little mineral show in the West....the Seattle Mineral Market

Time to plan for : May 17th and 18th

Google search: Seattle Mineral Market 2014

Is there still time to register as a dealer? YES

Should you plan to go YES, start by marking it on your calendar

Jasun Light Cosgrove and Christy of Sound Minerals, are the organizers now, and they welcome interested party inquiries

NOTE:

This show was originally conceived by Bart Cannon and myself to be a comfortable venue for kids to be encouraged and become interested in minerals and mineralogy, while at the same time being a place to find great mineral deals for adults. Over the years, it has attracted the likes of Rob Lavinsky and other well known dealers from across the nation, so you really shouldn't miss it, if you have the time!!

You never know who or what may be discovered there!!
