Mineral ShowsSan Francisco Mineral (and Gem) Show, Aug 23-24, 2014

13th Aug 2014 23:16 BSTBarb Matz

San Francisco Gem & Mineral Society's 60th annual (Diamond Jubilee!) Show is coming soon, on August 23 and 24, 2014. There will be 60 displays, ranging from fine minerals to jewelry made by members in our shop, and 30 dealers with a similar variety of materials for sale. On Saturday evening we will hold a Winemakers Dinner at the venue, featuring a 4-course meal with Mineral Wines pairings, and a live auction -- tickets are available for this event. The show will be at the SF County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park, at 9th Avenue & Lincoln Way, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10-5 Sunday. Other local groups participating in the show include Bay Area Mineralogists and Northern California Geological Society.

If you're in the area, stop on by!
