Hello all,

I have had many specimens with this persons label however I have never been able to find out who this collector was.

Is anyone out there familiar with these anonymous typed labels?

Thanks,

Chris

Can that be any clue to investigate, if perhaps this Calvert can be of any interest?

There was also a mineral collector named Earl Calvert. I see that one of his (early?) labels has his name on the card in all capitals. Rock Currier bought Earl Calvert's collection from his children. Examples are also shown in the Mineralogical Record label archive.

Totally off the purpose this inquiry, but showing that it is a small world: Until I was five years old, Early Calvert was my (parents) landlord and our neighbor. He had a house built next to his on his property in San Gabriel, California that we rented. That was when/where I learned that people collect minerals.
