One thing I would check, is fluorescence.  LW and SW.

Some Keweenaw Calcite fluoresce red-orange, pink, and if I remember correctly, white.  Five or six years ago I checked several piles in the Keweenaw and discovered these colors.

Haven't seen or tested fluorapophyllite from the Keweenaw to know if it fluoresces.  But it is always good to check.

I have not had it analyzed. I would love to! Somebody on another website suggested it was fluorapophyllite. I will get myself a UV light as well. 

Whats the best way to get it analyzed? I suppose it would require me to pay?
