Mineral ShowsDallas Mineral Collector Symposium 2020

10th Jul 2020 09:49 BSTJolyon Ralph Founder

As many of you know, the Dallas Mineral Collecting Symposium had been hoping to hold a modified in-person event this year, celebrating the 10th Anniversary. However, despite significant COVID-19 safety planning, recent developments forced suspension of all in-person activities for this year, instead going online to present a new and reimagined version of the Dallas Symposium!

New features include a two-day web series of “Greatest Hits” talks from the previous 10 years of symposia, early afternoon to early evenings (CT) on August 22-23.

The annual benefit auction will be moved online for the first time, allowing worldwide access and the opportunity to contribute by bidding on exciting items, with proceeds benefiting these important organizations in our shared world: Mineralogical Record, Rocks & Minerals, Tucson Gem and Mineral Society, and Help them to help us all! These organizations need our support now more than ever.

The weekend’s events will be FREE to access, but please consider making a participation-donation to the above organizations if you’re in the position to do so!
