Identity Help100% Fake Turquoise or Stabilized?
1st Mar 2021 00:12 UTCAhmed Syed Shah
Someone sold me this ring. I took a hot knife and as you can see in red two burn marks appeared. Smelled like plastic.
Now my main concern is that is this stone 100% fake or real stabilized?
I have the acetone test with no color coming off on the q-tip. The surface has ridges where my fingernail can get stuck.
Supposedly this is a Iranian turquoise.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Of course the whole may be plastic/artificial.
