GeneralTucson analysis

8th Mar 2013 02:35 UTCRock Currier Expert

I am doing a general analysis of the Tucson shows since 1992 using the Tucson Show guides as a source of data. I am missing the 2006 Tucson Show Guide. I am hoping one of our Mindat members will have a copy of the 2006 show guide and will be able to find the following information for me. For my analysis I need to know the number of exhibitors, the number of venues, the number of pages in the guide and the weight of the guide like 2.24 lbs. I am currently missing three years from 1992 to 2013 and the numbers for two of those have already been promised by a friend leaving only the 2006 issue in limbo. When I have the numbers in hand Ill put them in an excel spread sheet and put it here on Mindat for general reference. So far it looks like 2007 was the high mark for exhibitors at Tucson at 3935 exhibitors/dealers with only 3127 participating this year (2013).

There is a 2006 Tucson show guide (albeit the metaphysical version) on ebay right now.

I am in no way connected with ebay or the seller. Just trying to be helpful.

Haw Haw!

Steve, even if the seller was cutting you a 50% commission, you probably would not have enough for a Starbucks run. But thanks, Ill look into it if no one steps up.

Rock,

I have a 2006 Tucson show guide that I can ship to you so you can get the info you need for your analysis. It says "colored stone" above Tucson Show Guide,

I assume this is the one you need. It weights 2lb. 7oz. Let me know where you want it shipped in a pm. Hope it helps. Interesting exercise.

Victor, that would be just fine. Ill send you a private message with the address of where to send it.
