TWO mindat one-day symposia this year: October in Moscow and November in UK!

Following the success of our one-day mini symposium last year in the UK we are following this up with TWO new events this year - one in Moscow in early October and another in Haywards Heath, Sussex, on the Sunday immediately after the Haywards Heath show.

At the moment I'm really interested in anyone who would like to offer a presentation at either event about any interesting and topical mineralogical or mineral collecting related subject.

Last year's event was very well received http://www.mindat.org/article.php/2155/Mindat+-+SMLS+-+NHM+Events+November+2014 so if you're interested please send me an email or reply here and we can discuss. As these are small low-cost events we can't assist much with travel and/or accommodation costs but we can of course offer free entry to the events for speakers.

The moscow event will also include a curator-guided VIP visit to the famous Fersman Mineralogical Museum (and for those who can stay long enough other mineral museums too) with possible behind-the-scenes access.

There is also an option for a behind-the-scenes tour at the Natural History Museum in London on the Friday before the SMLS show in November for those who have not done this.

Thanks!

Jolyon
