GeneralPhotos on home page of a mineral

Hi,

Since a few days, I note that photos on home page of some minerals have disappeared and are replaced by a black square with an "x" on the left top of the place where the photo would be (see photo attached).

The anomaly is the same for others computers, with Windows 7 or 10, so I deducted the problem is in your software, or the way the photos are sent to our computers.

I hope you will resolve this problem.

Regards

I haven't seen this bug on pages I checked.

I'v noticed it on two computers that I use too, recently. I figured it was on my end but didn't investigate. Most of the time it doesn't happen with me.

I've noticed white squares with red crosses where the pictures should be on a few occasions. Clearing the page cache solves the problem for me.

The same experience as Vik.

thanks Vik,

Could you explain me how to clear the page (with W7 and W10). I suppose it is with "Options Internet" ?

It is a cache problem since the update of where the photos are stored. You need to have editing privileges to clear the mineral page caches.

I have the same problem, sometimes loading and sometimes not loading. There are pages where I upload some photos and others do not and I happen frequently and I have tried with several computers.

Something must be happening on your server after the change, because there are users who are not, for example, Juan Miguel Segura, does not appear or looking for Segura, or Juan, or anything, we have tried for different days, hours Different computers.

In case it serves you something.

Greetings.

Saludos.
