Rui, Thank you for uploading the beautifully composed, exposed and wonderfully artistic BLACK & WHITE images of this mine. Looking at the Copyright information I assume they are the work of Mr. Barriga. Very refreshing addition to the database!!! Cookie (my wife) and I operated a custom B & W lab and shot ONLY B & W film most of our lives.......digital shut down the lab and we were no longer able to keep the equipment operational so just went with the flow......digital.

Very special photographs--thank you for providing these! The underground is a special place. It is not for everyone, but when one is alone, surrounded by complete and total darkness, the sound is deafening. Absolute silence in its purest form. And then, the discovery of cavities with minerals which no person has ever seen before and where no light has ever penetrated, is truly special. I miss these days. The feelings and memories are vivid, and these photographs brought it all back for me. Thank you!
