EducationMarcasite in India and How To Identify One?

Are big chunks of Marcasite available at the listed sites in India?


If no, then:


Besides the listed regions where can I find Marcasite?


What sort of terrain should I be looking at?


I am looking for nodules but cockscomb ones will also do. How to identify a Marcasite? Nodule is easy, it has definite pattern. What about other cases?

A good option in such cases is to write the name of the mineral in the first search window at the very bottom of the main (or any) page, and then type "India" in the other search window. If there are any photos of the particular mineral from India, then they will be listed at the very bottom (below the list of localities from India that have this mineral reported).
