Just a quick note to publicize the 21st Annual Minerals of Arizona Symposium sponsored by the Flagg Mineral Foundation on April 5-7, 2013 at the Clarion Hotel in Phoenix (5121 E. La Puente Avenue...NW Corner of Elliot Rd and I-10). There will be a micromount session on Friday afternoon followed by mineral sales in dealers rooms that evening. Saturday will be filled with talks (with breaks for lunch and snacks) and an auction. A possible field trip is planned for Sunday.

Please see flaggmineralfoundation.org for more information. The Clarion Hotel has a special rate of $69.95 per night plus tax for the symposium--please mention that you will be attending the symposium to get this rate. Call 480-893-3900.

This really is an excellent event with excellent talks, great food and fellowship and choice specimens available at the auction. It is always great fun.

Hope to see you there!

Dana
