Mindat friends,
Once again it is time for the Franklin spring show, April 27 and 28. I will again be inside with the denim table covers. Stop by and say hello and check out all the new items I am bringing, including a collection from the 60s and 70s. There is also the annual banquet, auctions and the Super Dig in Ogdensburg. Friends, Food and Fluoresent Minerals. There is no better way to spend the weekend. Let me know if you need more info.
Hope to see you there,
Gary

Thanks for reminding everyone about the Franklin, NJ mineral show. Hope to see some Mindaters there. Heather and I will have our tables set up outside again this year. Good weather is predicted!

Gary, I do hope you are right about the good weather!!
For folks looking for New Jersey specimens they should find an abundance at this show as well as great exhibits.
I plan to be there setting up a few exhibits and look forward to meeting up with fellow collectors.
Also, just a reminder the local police will be looking to make extra income so watch the local speed limits very carefully!!!

Steve.

Despite the recent mega show at Edison, NJ, the Franklin shows maintain their "homey" atmosphere and pleasant surroundings. We are looking forward to seeing all of our friends at this event.

We greatly enjoyed attending the Edison show. It was very big and I don't think we got to see everything. That aside, I have to admit that I was a bit "ticked off" when I found out that this show would be held so close to the Franklin show. Hopefully it will not affect sales. Is it possible that the show planners could set up next year's show a bit earlier or later than Franklin? Having cut my teeth on Franklin minerals, I hold our show in very high regard.
