The gorceixite page ( http://www.mindat.org/min-1727.html ) states:


"Colour: White or brown, may be mottled; colourless in transmitted light.."


The Handbook of Mineralogy offers:





It suggests "colorless" not "white," and includes green (which I'm looking at right now in front of me).

I have seen a lot of fairly white Gorceixite crystals from Rapid Creek.
