Mineral ExchangesCo-type material thumbnail of Chestermanite offered

9th Mar 2019 21:18 UTCThomas Yancey

I have a thumbnail of co-type sample of the mineral chestermanite that I desire to exchange for a mineral of similar value. The specimen was obtained from Dr. Diederik Visser, then of the Netherlands about 20 years ago and has labels of his collection and a label with a signature of Eugene E Foord indicating it is co-type. The sample is from Twin Lakes, Fresno County, California. My personal preference is for a miniature sample of an uncommon/rare mineral with provenance but not type sample.

The chestermanite specimen has been traded and no more is available.

Thank you for your interest, I am glad to have been able to send it to a person who values it.
