Ding Daoheng
Crystal System:
Named in honor of Ding Daoheng (丁道衡) (November 1899, Zhijin County, Guise Province, China - 21 February 1955, China), who discovered the Bayan Obo REE-Nb-Fe ore deposit in 1927, at the age of 28. The suffix follows the IMA naming convention for REE minerals and denotes cerium as the dominant REE.
Dimorph of:
Dimorph of perrierite-(Ce).
