NaLi2(Fe22+Al2Li)Si8O22(OH)2
The pedrizite group minerals are lithium amphiboles defined with:
A(Na+K+2Ca)> 0.5 apfu and
CLi > 0,5 apfu

Ferro-pedrizite is defined with
A position: Na dominant
C2+ position: Fe dominant
C3+ position: Al dominant
W position: (OH)dominant
System:
Monoclinic
Colour:
dark grey-blue to ...
Name:
The name ferropedrizite has been used for a hypotethical end member amphibole mineral with the formula Li2(LiFe2+2Fe3+Al)Si8O22(OH)2. Ferro-pedrizite has been redefined to the current definition in the 2012 amphibole nomenclature. Formally approved in 2014 (IMA 2014-037) from Sangilen Upland, Sutlug Valley, Targi River Basin, Tuva Republic, Eastern Siberian Region, Russia (50º00’20’’N, 96º37’40’’E)
The element combination is quite unique, shared with 'ferro-leakeite' only.
