About Lamprophyllite GroupHide

AP2MH2MO4(Si2O7)2(XOM)2(XOA)2
From Sokolova and Cámara (2017)
A group in the Seidozerite Supergroup.
TS block: Ti (+ Nb + Fe3+ + Mg)= 3 apfu, Ti occurs in the H sheets (2 apfu) and in the O sheet (1 apfu).

The structure is based on HOH heteropolyhedral modules, with H being heteropolyhedral and O being octahedral sheets.

The following structural types are reported for the lamprophyllite-like species (Rastsvetaeva et al. 2016):
- type I: C2/m polytypes
- type II: Pnmn polytypes
- type III: nabalamprophyllite (P2/m)
- types IV and V: triclinic (various space groups, primitive cell)
