Possibly a new sulfarsenide in the platinum group, with RuAsS being an end member. Also considered as a variety of RuAsS.

Two grains found when analyzing hollingworthite from Witwatersrand Au mines, RSA.

Compare ruarsite and 'UM2007-22-S:AsRu'.
